Joe Stewart

Joe is from Bloomfield, Colorado, north of Denver. Joe has been playing for more than four years. He recently acquired a National Tricone acoustic steel guitar and enjoys playing it.

Joe has been playing Hawaiian music in a band for more than ten years. He plays guitar, slack key, and the steel guitar. He has attended and participated in the past three conventions of the Hawai‘i Steel Guitar Association in Fort Collins, Colorado.

He enjoys playing the fiddle, guitar (Celtic, contra dance), is a member of the Denver ‘ukulele community and started a ‘Uke club. Joe also enjoys golf.
